When granddaughter, Jada, was born with leukemia, a donor-match was located and Jada made a miraculous recovery. In honor of her grandaughter's health, Jeanna has decided to walk across the country (in the dead of winter) to raise awareness and build support for the bone marrow registry (all that's required is a cheek swab). Follow Jeanna's remarkable journey as she travels the United States by foot.

just wanted to share this with everyone. i collect animal and fruit x-mas ornaments made only by Old World Christmas. they are gorgeous and reasonably priced. they released a brand new ornament this year and to my elated surprise, it was a border collie. i ordered one as soon as i saw it and it is lovely. the girls keep going up to it and gently nosing it as if they know it is *their* ornament.

Yesterday I groomed and trimmed all three of my dogs, and tonight it was time for the annual Christmas bath. Ruth had to have a bath only two weeks ago so she didn't have to go again tonight, but both Aska and Sirius ended up in the shower...
